Its easy, especially as the only employee in my business, to get caught up in all of the little things that I could be doing instead of focusing on the big picture. Sometimes, the week ends and I’m left wondering what on earth happened to all of my time. What did I actually accomplish with my week?
This year, I’ve taken a new approach to my personal work schedule and I think its working. I’ve got a set of goals for the year broken down by the month, and then every week I look at what I need to do to work toward accomplishing those goals. So far, its working. But that’s not to say that I don’t lose sight and get hung up on trying to do everything all at once.
